Birthday behaviour

Adesuwa the birthday diva, Happy Birthday Darling, wishing you a Long Life and Prosperity. May Almighty God grant you all you want. Birthday diva came into the studio to get dolled up for her big day. Love drama on her eyes and the way the coloured pencil is reflecting under the nude lip colours. Sad much I didn’t take a full picture of her dress. Enjoy the pictures of her birthday and after the pictures are the product used on her so that you can try out the look in during your leisure time.

AMARIA HADIZA…..

Yedzu (Hello everyone), how is ya’ll doing? So happy to share this post with everyone. Last weekend was like an excursion for me, because aside working, I saw new cultures. Met wonderful friends, learnt few Nupe languages and to top it all my bride Hadiza is so sweet, even if I got extremely tired at some point she compensated me at the end of the day……..winks.

image

Meet my barbie doll Hadiza everyone, with her cute small lips.

Met Hadiza for the 1st time on friday when I got to her home town in Minna, she was all over me like we have met before which made me realy comfortable and I felt like I was home, her people (NUPE) are pleasant people as well. We didn’t get to do trials but she has sent a picture of her outfits to me and I had done her trials in my head coupled with the fact that she has sent me series of her pictures, so this made every thing a lot easier for me but like I will always say, people tend to waste lotta time during engagement and time wasn’t so friendly to me and I had to rush most of all I had to do and I skiped false lashes, thank God Hadiza had long lashes so it completed the look. But what amused me about Nupe culture is the way they do traditional wedding, they start in d evening like 3/4pm till day break *surprised* but I learnt it depends on the individual involved and also some of the outfits, sit back relax, I have pictures to back up this fact….lol.

image

This is what a Nupe bridal outfit looks like, I was jes blushing while I was dressing her up,because I have never seen this before. But HADIZA rock the look with her smile and pose.

Come Saturday, 24th of May everything went down like we do in lasgidi because of church and all but thank God I had d whole time to doll her up like a glam bride that she is, about her look wanted some thing different from the regular, so opted for a purple smokey, brighten up her eyes with a peach mettalic shadow at the tearduct, because of her long lashes I only used half strip at the side of her lashes for a more natural lookand for her tiny cute lips she rocked a nude pinky purple lips. Kept her face fresh, since it’s bridal so I was easy with the contouring but at the end of it all Hadiza is a glam bride. Sit back and scroll through Hadiza’s beautiful pictures……

image

Despite the little time I had and the pressure that was on me because they wanted to take the bride out, I was still able to doll her up.

Great Hadivee…..

ANALOGOUS COLOURS…..

image

Hey everyone, how is your day to day hustle? Mine has been hustlefull…..lol. I am sure there is nothing like this in the dictionary but take this as bellevous english….lol.

Back to the matter, Analogous Colours, what are they? They are colours which are side by side on a 12 part Colour wheel such as yellow- green, yellow, and yellow- orange. Usually one of the three colours predominates. So today my shadows were applied according to the theory of Analogous colours, used green, blue, purple and for the inner eye used a silver and a white pencil to make her eyes a bit bolder. Since I have lot of  drama around the eyes, decided to give the lips the effect like it’s nude with the help of a wonderful lip pencil and a frosted lipstick.

image

A clear picture of all I said above.

image

Colourful and beautiful eye makeup.

image

This side view though, see how beautifully crafted her hallow is…..

image

White teeth, get close up.

image

Above is a colour wheel, after the yellow lies analogous colours used on my model. It’s important to study and get familiar with the colour wheel as this will enable you have better knowledge of how to combine, blend colours and come up with a very beautiful and colourful eye makeup and also let your eye makeup tell a colourful story……. Hope this post help you improve on your eye shadow application.

Till my next post……

COLOUR BLOCKING.

image

Hello everyone, how was your weekend? Wishing you all a productive week ahead. My hands has been itching me to put up this post but I have been busy, God bless my hustle, Amen. The colour of the gele caught my attention and inspired this look.

Worked with bold complementary colours on the eyelid, contoured with plum (very light shade of purple) of all colours and that’s how I colour blocked my eyes….lol. For the lips I used a bright red with my favourite mac nude lipstick. My favourite part of this look is the contouring aspect where I was able to make my round face appear longer, and gave myself a chiseled cheekbone. Enough talking about the makeup, let the pictures speak for itself.

MY BRIDEZILLA OLAYEMI

image

Hello dolls,   am super dupa excited to share this post with everyone because I love the pictures. Special thanks to Seun of Picturemagic, his details at the end of the post.

About my bride Olayemi Oladele now Olayemi Awoseni, congratulations ma’am. She is such a calm bride and the funny thing is she followed her instinct on some of her vendors, we never met, we spoke on phone for a very long time. I was one of them and am so glad I didn’t disappoint her on her big day. Also thank you for choosing bellevous makeovers. Her trials was so easy we didn’t waste so much time because she went for one of the looks in the studio and this made everything so fast and easy for me. For her white wedding wanted a bright eyes compared to the engagement and a nude brownish matte lips and the outcome, so lovely. You will agree with me from the pictures below.

BH COSMETICS- Waterproof Lipliner- REVIEW & GIVEAWAY

image

Hello dolls, I am so happy to put up this post. Reason been that the Bh cosmetics waterproof pencil is a must have and I will also be giving out pencil to 1st three people to like this post…….yayyyyyyy.

image

Description- The packaging is like any other regular lip pencil but looks classy and expensive in itself. The Coloured band at one end definitely helps when you are looking for it in your stash. Did I mention there are 9 shades but today I will be talking about 2 of the pencils #Candy and #Earth.

image

Application- It can be worn as a liner or used all over the lips like a lipstick, but it’s not so creamy, so blending and smudging isn’t so easy. In the picture above is Candy and Earth liner with a gloss.

image

Swatches- Above are  swatches of earth and Candy liner.
Earth is a nude pinkish brown that can go with an colour, and can also be used to achieve an ombre lips.

Candy is a pinkish purple, can be used as a liner or all over the lips. For lovers of matte lip stick, this is a must have. It can also be used as a base for a lipstick that complement this lip colour.

Now let me summarise the good and so not good about the product.
Pros-
* It can be worn alone without a lipstick
* Long lasting, waterproof, non smudging.
* As it is not so creamy, it will last longer.
* The color indicator band is a good functional thing I like, as this would make you iidentify it quickly.

Cons-
* It’s not easy to blend, so it is better to sketch when using and not drawing thick line around the lips.
* It’s dry out fast, so lip balm is neccessary.
* The plastic case makes it difficult to sharpen smoothly.

Availability- It’s available @ bellevous makeup studio and it’s realy affordable.

Note- There is give away for the 1st three people to like this post. You will receive a mail after liking the post, on how to pick up your price.

LASH BARBIE

image

Hello dolls, Happy New Month. I am so sorry I haven’t been frequent with my post. I love everybit of this look. Happy belated birthday Tosin.

image

I got an impromptu call on Monday afternoon from the celebrant if I was free to come doll her up for her dinner in the evening, the 1st thing that creeped into my head was third mainland traffic. We went on and on & eventually concluded I will be there. Which I did and she was surprised cos I got there early enough. Since she told me it’s a dinner and it’s her birthday I settled for a bold eyes with a voluptuous  lashes. I had to fix the individual lash before starting with the makeup, later fixed the strip lashes in between the makeup and sealed the look with a nude lips to help balance the whole look. I love the end result, I hope you do? Cos the celebrant and her friends did…….. Enjoy the pictures below…
